The Shattered Moon

A broken moon rides the night, sundered in an immemorial cataclysm the shamans call the Shattering. The world takes its name from it: Iron, Beneath a Shattered Moon.

It answers to three names. To most it is Maru. The caravaners and sailors who steer by it call it, less reverently, the Broken Lamp. And the Throg'Gar, who fear it, name it the Bleeding Eye — the wrathful eye of their god Draken'r, fixed on them still, and still angry.

Under its light the hunt belongs to Drakenr, the Night Stalker — and hunter and hunted alike are his.
