Welcome to Iron: Beneath a Shattered Moon, a brutal survival RPG where you take up the life of a hunter-gatherer at the dawn of the Iron Age, fighting to stay alive in a harsh and unforgiving world. You will need your wits, your strength, and your cunning to survive a wilderness that hides danger at every turn.

Your days are filled with the hunt: perilous encounters with fierce predators and heart-pounding chases after wary prey, and the endless work of the forager, stripping berries and herbs, felling timber, and breaking open rock and ore. What you gather, you must work. You will knap stone into blades, brew remedies at the fire, and smelt ore into the hard iron that lifts your people above the beasts.

But the wilds are the least of it. Rival tribes, and older and stranger kindreds like the brute Throg'Gar and the cold Hiss'Gar, contest the same ground. And from beyond the mountains and the southern sea, two iron empires press inward: one that comes with soldiers and priests, the other with merchants and debt. Your people, the Gar, stand caught between them, fighting to keep their land and their gods. Beneath it all wait the mysteries of the Elder Ages: a moon shattered in a forgotten cataclysm, islands that drift toward it in the sky, and the sunken ruins of civilizations that rose and fell before the first human drew breath. To endure, you must adapt: raise a shelter, fortify it, and carve out a place to call your own.
