Codex THE OLD GODS
THE OLD GODS
Before the empires raised their sigils and the tribes split the valley between them, the Gar named the powers of the world and gave them faces. These are the Old Gods — the pantheon of the Gar people, shared across all the tribes of the valley: earth and fire, river and storm, and the wild dark between.
They are not worshipped from temples but felt in the work of every day — in the ore that yields to the pick, the fire that cooks the meat, the rain that fills the well, the wind at the traveller's back, and the hunter's patience under the Shattered Moon. Choose a god to learn their domain and look upon their face.
