PREY, TAMEABLE AND RIDEABLE.

A swift runner of the plains, and the only beast in Garuun that will carry you. A wild horse lets you come near, but strike it and it most often bolts in panic; now and then one rears and fights back instead.

Calm it (R) or feed it Greenleaf Leaves (Z) until it is tame. Calming may spook it into a short bolt; Greenleaf never does. A wild horse throws anyone who tries to mount it, but a tame one is yours to ride. Reins make it stand where you leave it; a Saddle does the same and lets it carry packs. Both are made in the TRANSPORT tab of N, and a tame horse led on a Rope can be hitched to a Cart.
